ACUPUNCTURE & CHINESE MEDICINE
Where inner and outer meet.
There is a space between who we are within and the world we move through each day. Acupuncture offers a way to return to that space, allowing the body to soften, reconnect and find its natural rhythm again.
PhilosophyA space to pause,
reconnect,
and restore.
Much of life is lived between what we feel within ourselves and what the world asks of us.
Love, purpose and connection sit alongside work, relationships, expectations and the pressures of everyday life. Together, these experiences shape how we move through the world.
When we are guided by connection and purpose, life can move with greater ease. When stress, fear or pressure builds, the body can begin to hold that tension more deeply. It may show up as discomfort, pain or simply a feeling that something is not quite right.
I see these symptoms as part of the body's way of communicating: an attempt to restore balance.
My approach to acupuncture is rooted in the belief that healing begins when we create space for the body to return to its natural rhythm. Rather than forcing change, treatment invites the body to respond, soften and rebalance.
In Chinese medicine, this is understood through the movement of Qi, the vital force that flows within us. When Qi moves freely, there is a sense of adaptability and ease. When that movement becomes disrupted, imbalance can arise.
Acupuncture works gently with this process, supporting the body as it finds its way back towards balance.
This is the space in between.

Acupuncture addresses a wide range of physical and emotional conditions by working with the body's natural capacity to heal and restore itself.

Behind the Space in Between
My path into acupuncture began with a background in Nutrition and Public Health.
After working in research, I found myself drawn towards a more direct way of supporting people. I wanted to work with the body in a way that felt more personal and meaningful.
What began as a course became a six-year journey into Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
Along the way, life circumstances meant that I had to take breaks from my training. At the time, I questioned those pauses. Looking back, I can see that they gave me the space to deepen my understanding of this medicine and its philosophy in ways I had not expected.
I completed my training at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, where I qualified as an acupuncturist.
This path is also deeply personal.
It is in honour of my late husband, who encouraged me to follow a path where I could heal with my hands.
I carry that intention into every treatment, with care and presence.
A place to pause, listen and restore.
